Over the last several months, I have been focused on doing the work for my own health and body. I take pride in the accomplishments because it’s been hard work.
But before that, I spent a lot of time doing the work on mental and emotional health. Healing my heart, clearing my thinking and becoming the best version of me as a person. While that work is far from done, I take pride in those accomplishments as well, because that work is even harder.
Regardless of where your focus is, remember that you are a whole being. Body, heart, mind and soul. Don’t neglect one for the other. Do the work, the hard work… and always take pride in your accomplishments.
Some people will talk of ego and try to put you down for the pride you have, but they aren’t doing your work for you. It’s ok to be proud of the work you’ve done.
But also remember to keep humble, because no matter the work you’ve done, there’s always room for improvement. You may put more work in than others, but that doesn’t make you better than them… only better than yourself was yesterday.
Do the work. It’s truly worth it.
